Next level cosmic disco business from who else? Still Going that's who! The debut release on Eric Duncan and Liv Spencer's newly minted minted Still Going imprint is nothing short of amazing - a balaeric-rock-disco sound extravaganza of sorts, that really brings the "jam" aspect of the music back to the forefront. "D117" sounds like it could have been culled from some lost 70's rare kraut-disco record, but it's something fresh and new with a modern bump to the kit. And with all the synths, pianos, drums and guitars swirling and peaking, you almost have to step back when the female vocals come in (courtesy of Lizzy Yoder of Fischerspooner fame). The Guitar Mix lets the guitar loose on the soloing, and I'm not even mad at it! Recommended.
