Chi-Town's DJ Rahaan is not only one of the best disco and house DJs I've ever seen rock a party, he's also nice when it comes to the edits. After dropping edits on such respected labels as Jisco and Kat, he's here on Stillove4music with three secret heaters. Up first is a fantastic rework of Timmy Thomas' soul classic "Why Can't We Live Together" subtly pumped up with percolating house drums for an added bump on the dancefloor. Dope. On the flip, things get hot and heated WBMX style with a proto-house/italo groove for all the night people out there and a hypnotic re-edit of Jakki's "Sun Sun Sun" for the deep disco heads. Check this!
