Los Angeles in this MFer. Third volume in All City's LA Series features 6 more beats of the new school variety from two Los Angeles heavy smashers. Ras G & The Afrikan Space Program take up the first half of the EP with 3 abstract synth beat collages that'll to take your head for a spin. The sound is very out there with plenty of off-kilter beat splicing, super delayed and tweaked samples and the occassional "Raassss!" sample to make it official. Samiyam takes the other half of the release with 3 for the blunted beat heads. Check the gangster slaps of "Space," the menacing mood of "Fishsticks" and the introspective head nod of "Brad." Rolling one up wouldn't be a bad idea when listening to this one.
