Former TTL NY manager Sabo teams up with Uriel (aka B.N. Loco of Mexico) once again for volume 9 of his best selling Sol Selectas series. The duo collaborated on the tropicalia inspired Sol Selectas #6, but here they totally flip things up and go in for a gospel house banger. "Happy Gospel" flips the classic gospel song "Oh Happy Day" and gives it a heavy dub-tech rework that'll get people out on the floor, while "Happy Dub" is equally effective, but dubs things out a bit for those that try and stear clear of vocals. Flipside offers more of the Sol Selectas sound that you're used to with the pumping latin house jam "Mi Tierra" and their afro breakbeat remix of Los Mono's "Promeses." Play 'em loud and watch the ladies get down. Recommended.
