Mizz Beats makes an impressive debut on Floating Points' Eglo label with the Are We Dictators? EP. The UK producer is no newbie to the scene, having produced for grime MCs Wiley and Dizzie Rascal, and releases on Antisocial and Deep Medi Muzik. Are We Dictators is an eclectic beats affair, with big influence from UK's grime and funky styles, plus a whole lot of computerized funk. Check the style on "Dirty Dishes," "Sanctuary," "The Day Before Tomorrow," and "Sofa Bed." Also peep the solid head nod on "2bit Road." Thick import pressing.
