The German duo of Jence and Isi come back with its second full-length, I Love You, Dude (bromance!!!). With club-ready electro sounds ala Idealism at the core, the album also showcases Digitalism venturing more into indie-pop/dance-rock territories, with Jens Moelle handling vocal duties. Check out the lead single "2 Hearts" featuring undeniable melodies and a catchy hook, or jump to "Circles," a harder yet undoubtedly pop-y track. "Blitz" is a heavy-synths-filtered-bassline-snappy-drums workout guaranteed to move bodies on the dancefloor, and "Encore," which also is very dj-friendly in a sexier, electro-disco sort of a way. Another standout track is "Forrest Gump," a track co-written by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, and it is another indication of Digitalism's attempt at adding indie flavor to the album.
