Overview

In the early Lab days, Billy Boyo (and his partner Little Harry) served as an unofficial mascot gracing the front of Record Check amongst other Lab graphics. A protege of Junjo Lawes, Billy had a brief but standout career riding over famous Volcano-era dancehall riddims and then disappeared from the scene. General knowledge said Billy was shot when he as a youngster, but apparently he died of a brain tumor in 2000. The Lab consensus is that this particular track was his finest moment, garnering hundreds of plays in Reggae Monkey's old lair. Yellowman's standout "Lost Mi Love" on the same Junjo riddim featured on the flip. High quality Jah Guidance pressing.
