Ame has the knack for the epic. Ever since their classic Innervisions debut, Rej, the duo has been exploring the subterranean area between techno and deep house, usually with memorable, permanent results. For their first release of 2011, Ame has teamed up with South African band Amampondo and released what I'll describe as a "mental anthem." The sythesizer action is straight 'tarded, and the vocals elevate the track  to the steepest Cape Town vista. Get me hard drugs and a Gatorade quart right now. There's two versions, which are more like part 1 and 2. Recommended.
