Although Josie And The Pussycats never struck it big in the box office, the film has developed a cult following. The same goes for the music featured on the movie, understandable as people like Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), Kay Hanley and Michael Eisenstein (Letter to Cleo) and Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) were involved. For the first time ever, the fictional rock and roll trio's totally jerkin' tracks are available on vinyl, and we couldn't be more excited (the "band" actually played a reunion show in LA last year!). This might be the perfect time to revisit the satirical classic, this reissue includes a 12-page booklet of never-before-seen behind the scene photos & all new liner notes by Emma Garland (Noisey.). Remastered and pressed on 180g vinyl, includes a bonus 7-inch from former Mega Records label mates DuJour (2000-2001).
