Akai and Ableton build upon their revolutionary APC40 controller with an a new and improved line of APC controllers. Incorporating five years of feedback into their development, the new APC series boasts improvements in all aspects of their design and functionality. This is the APC 25, the first model to incorporate a compact keyboard with APC-style control over Live. The APC 25 takes essential functions of the APC 40 and adds melody creating power via 25 note mini keyboard and 8x5 launch grid. The 40 tri-color lighted buttons laid out in the familiar Ableton grid plus 8 assignable knobs (for controlling FX, pans, mixes and more) make this controller worthy of Live novices and pros alike. Includes Ableton Live Lite software (along with plug-ins) and comes pre-mapped for seamless integration right out of the box.
